Rendered using Vray With caustics. Im trying to rerender it with better reflects and transparency. To make it i applied a bunch of bend and tapers and twist-o-rama modifiers to make this with 1 displacement map.

what did the original geometry look like?

You mean before i applied the twist and bend and stuff?
