We have the tools, it just has to be done manually every time a map is added. Which would mean you'd have to create some sort of autopatching executable that updates itself based off of an index hosted on a server that contained all map descriptions/images of every map ever made.
however, that does not mean that you shouldn't put any custom maps on that list.
add what maps you makers want.

I think you guys are missing the point. It would take alot of fucking time to do, you need to do it in HMT or some halo PC hacking tool, so I'd have to find a converter that doesn't fuck everything up. It's not worth enough to do. Not everyone has the maps that I would put in.

(though it may become like a tresure hunt to find the maps that work and then those maps may become more popular)
but the majority of the comunity is a slack as so it doesn't matter.

If it was added and you didn't have the map, it'd be greyed out, like the default maps are if you don't have them in your maps folder.
Who cares, it's completely unnecessary and a waste of time. The UI is certainly more than adequate without it.
