BTW I logged like 30 hours in Ace Combat 4 back in the day. The new one looks awesome, but the Third Person perspective looks... Confusing. Too much stuff happening at the same time to feel like I can make accurate shots. That was the beauty of the old PS2 titles to me was that there was enough action to be exciting, but not enough to be confusing.
I am extremely worried about this new "Close Assault" perspective they're introducing. Throughout the series Bandai Namco has introduced slight and subtle changes to mechanics and formula while still keeping it to what makes Ace Combat so great. This is new and big however, so I'm on the fence about how Assault Horizon is going to play out. I'm also disappointed at them moving to the real world and abandoning Strangereal, I had a strong affinity for the nations in Strangereal, particularly Emmeria from AC 6 and Osea and Belka in AC5 and AC: Zero.
