So the beta drivers don't do jack shit....
Just read the details of the drivers for AMD/ATi. They don't do jack shit if you don't have crossfire.
if the player cap exceeds 18, it has dedicated servers.
Console players just don't get to set their own rules or anything close to the level of customization PC players get. And the publisher hosts and pays for them. Plus, it gives the publisher complete control of your experience, so if they decide to kill the servers in an effort to force you to buy the servers, they will. Despicable, but understandable considering how console players are more likely to gravitate towards a sequel right away and ignore the old game since there's no performance questions to worry about, whereas PC players tend to stick with the older titles if they're in doubt about their rigs.
as mentioned BF on consoles has always had dedicated servers (just with a lower player cap, probably to reduce costs), other console games I know of with dedi servers are MAG (256 players!) and Resistance 2. I tried my friend's copy of BF3 on xbox 360 to see how well it performed online, and it was decent afaik, but I guess that depends on the proximity of EA servers to your area.
so uh, is anyone playing in need of a squadmate
i need someone reliable that i can share my feelings with :(
Haha... add me; joshflighter
Just unlocked TV missiles for helicopter (the last unlock). Very fun indeed.
Who ever hasn't.. PLAY CO-OP!!!
It's way different then the actual single player missions. They have there own little plots. Really fun! (plus you get extra unlocks for playing them)
P.S if you are admin and don`t like someone. Don`t boot them right before the game ends. It makes you a fucktard.
I'm waiting until the first game update to play co-op. DICE is nerfing the amount of weapon exp grinding you need to unlock the weapons, so that's good.
It doesnt take much to unlock the weapons :S
