Not as much of a monster PC as you would to play the original Crysis.
I don't know why... but the graphics in CryEngine 2 just haven't ever really appealed to me. Maybe I'm not a photorealism kind of guy.
Seems to me like the more realistic games try to look, the more fake they feel. If that makes any sense.

Looks like more of the same shit I had to endure for the latter half of the game.
I remember seeing a similar looking SMG screenshot and reading something about the weapon in PC Gamer so I don't doubt that the screen is real. Both this SMG and the old one look similar to the MP7 - obviously someone at Crytek likes the weapon :P.
The only reason I will never play Crysis again, the AI sucked. I mean all the bushes and trees get pretty much defeated if the AI have some sort of super high zoom thermal goggles and some sort of radar that pics up exactly where you are. It's really annoying, once you make a sound they know exactly where you are and you're dead. Defeats the purpose of even having cover. Terroristsshouldnt bearent that good at aiming tbh.
If you're talking about the boats, I feel your pain....I get so mad I turn on g_godmode 1 and infinite speed just to go out there and kill the driver and gunner. Then, I proceed to punch the boat (defying the laws of physics...) until it blows up.
Heliocopters were worse. Detecting you at night, in a bush, with active camo on. And shooting you dead on also.
