Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask for the 64, or A Link to the Past for the SNES would be my suggestions
OoT > MM, most definitely.
In general, that's true, OOT was a better game. But let's face it, you can't mess with the Fierce Deity, son. :v
The only Zelda game I played was LotP.
