Re: How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.
It wont mess up the disk, because when the game is launched, the disk stops spinning, and it wont mess up the disk, because it is doing the same process it would have before, just physically, rather than mechanically.
Re: How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.
I thought Microsoft had a program where they would replace disks if they were scratched by the 360's disk drive.
Re: How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.
No, unfortunate, all they will do is refund the money that you got for the game, and that works too... lol
Re: How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.
They need to refund my Cod4 and Cod5 Disks then :(
Re: How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.
There is a program to replace certain 360 discs, such as Halo 3 and Gears of War for $20, but it's pretty limited. I did it before for my Halo 3 disc, and am going to have to do it again in this case, seeing as the console can't recognize the disc at all, unless there's some other way.
EDIT: It might help to include a list of the games, I figure.

Then install his game to you hard drive. Than once it is completed put your game in the 360. (note your game must able to at least be read EX: Play Halo 3) If it at least say to play halo 3 than your good to go. Just play the game now. If your disc is to scratch up to even be read. Than just a new game.
Uhhhh, no shit?

Man thats like penny money.
You could always just buy a disk-descratcher, for me the local video rental shop has one of them. Only costs $2.00 to descratch a disk, unless you have deep scratches it wont be able to be fixed. Works.
