System link / 4-Player Coop For Halo 1 [New Downloads!]

Level Halo:

This is technically an unreleased version as of now (this will be the highspeed version). I did have to take out a few drop ships, only two and limit the guys in the dropship areas. Other then that she's very much the same. This version on the youtube was rescripted by Adolif I just added a few guys back in and tried to keep the dropships in. Again this is for higher speed connections or just local system link. I'm guessing it would far pretty decent over xbc. The highspeed version will be posted when its bugless.

Adolif has released a version that still has a few bugs in it (posted at rework3d). However at the moment he is working on a lower speed version. The low speed version is below for download. The low speed version is a dropshipless version, which still has an out of sync after a few waves of enemies at the beginning. Very easy to solve though, so for now. Just to wet your appetite, try this current version out...

So, can this be done on a 360? I don't know jack shit about modding Halo 1 (or 2 for that matter).

No, sorry just the original xbox. If you have one just softmod it, ftp to the xbox and replace the "beavercreek.map" for a10 (level pilliar) and sidewinder for a30 (level halo). You can also replace the ui.map with the one posted.

Sounds like you can do it on 360 with a hot-spawped .iso.

Just came across this forum. Really keen on getting some local 4 player coop via lan on 2 xboxes for halo 1 and halo 2. Found this and was very interested. Was just wondering how progress was going with it and how many levels you guys have moded to allow this 4 player coop.

P.S. Yes I am a n00b at modding and this sort of stuff so please be gentle :)

-patch ui.map
-rename......files (but dont know wich files to remane and to do exactly...)
