Halo: Faith [56K/you shall not pass]

Though I like the idea of a Halo movie, I gotta say I'm pretty bored of the Spartans as characters. They just aren't interesting. The Master Chief was only interesting because he was the last Spartan, all these new guys just feel like cardboard cutouts. A story about real people would resonate a lot better, I think.

Spartans should be part of a movie, but never the focus. Not unless they turn "The Fall of Reach" into a movie. Only then would they make interesting characters.

Also, that music gives good vibes.

Don't trust that pre-vfx video. His other video has comments saying he took pictures from other projects and said it was a part of this one. Those aren't official videos.

Part of what made Landfall so awesome: they combined regular people into a story surrounding the Chief. Fuck, Landfall was so goddamn awesome. Thinking about it now, it's better than a Halo movie, because Hollywood would probably fuck it up, and stretch those seven minutes of action over 90 mins by filling it all with drama or cheap "character development" :ugh:. It's a Halo movie without the Hollywood gene. IE, not suffering from :downs:.

What's so wrong about it?
Only thing wrong I see is that the elites have strange hands. And they hold the weapons in a peculiar manner. And the Scarabs are strangely angled and copy-pasted. And the elites have large torsos compared to the legs. And their waist is incredibly thin. And the grunt appears to have a pear attached to his back. And the banshee canopy is open.

Except AT-ATs fit Star Wars. When I saw the first Scarab in Halo 2, I went "wat." Bungie pulled a George Lucas: they made the series get more retarded with each iteration. They also did it for mostly the same reason: to draw in more viewers/players.
