Any halo 3 for pc mods ?

halo is and always has been a console fps. i enjoyed halo 1 much more on the pc, but it was made for consoles.

While PC gaming may be vastly superior in every way to console gaming, the truth is Halo was originally intended to be an Xbox exclusive upon it's release

I mean shit, the port wasn't even done by the original developers. Same with Halo 2.

@op There's a million of halo 3 styled maps and weapons. CMT and a bunch of other teams a while ago released a lot of h3 styled maps. None of them are "true" halo 3 maps, but you can find some close ones.

there's also a lot of halo 3 tagpacks, so you can take a mod like FTW2, which has high-res skins, then import halo 3 weapons and vehicles into it, and make your own nice-looking halo 3 map.

Well i want to play the campaign...I dont care about the super graphics....all i want is halo story...
Ofcourse i could just watch other players play but its not like that....

IF you want Halo story, PC/CE is not where you're going to get it. There just aren't enough people who can justify spending the time to create a Halo 3 mod.

I understand that this would be unusually hard.
But think of the online ratings this Mod can get.
However i accept that it does not exist.

Doing a remake specifically for the sake of popularity is a soulless, uninspired approach. Art should be whatever the creator wants to make.

Havent you thought for selling it ? ofcourse its illegal but it would make the seller some money.

Which in that case you may as well invest in an Xbox 360 to play the real game legitimately which would be drastically cheaper than paying legal fees.
