For one person no, for a clan why not? It will cost you more to pay for individual instances (if you run enough stuff) than just one dedi box plus you have more control and if you spread the cost among your members then it comes out cheaper.

Would be great if they changed it to the kind of dedicated server software we had for CE.
except for the fact that the dedicated server software for H1 and H1CE was a major resource hog.....1 halo server that has 16 players is 2-3(estimation) halo 2 servers with 16 people......Quote:
