Yes, duEl core is BS. But duAl core is far from it. And just FYI I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and it's a dual-core processor. Intel's Core 2 Duo rules - its 1.86Ghz E6320 outperforms my X2 3800+ so much it's not even funny. By the way, duel and dual have two different meanings. A duel is a showdown fight between two opponents, while dual is an adjective to show that there is two of something.
And if you think Intel Core 2 Duo is BS, you must have seriously overclocked that AMD X2 3800+.
now back on topic: I feel kind of ashamed that I bought my laptop too early (2.13Ghz Intel Pentium M 7700 Centrino Solo, 1 GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM, Geforce 6600 256MB and 80 GB 7200rpm hard drive). It cost me $1600 from cyberpower, but when I bought it, Intel hadn't even shipped out their Core 1 Duos.
