I would suggest using a custom animated shader for the prop blades. It will save you some poly's in the end.
Tbh. I can't write out an in-depth explanation right now, but you can use a ~blur permutation in the model once it is done. This is used both on the Warthog and Scorpion to make their wheels/treads switch to blurred bitmaps when moving - you could use the same system to switch shaders (or even geometry if you want to have say, stationary be fully modeled-on and moving a single plane with a shader) when the fans are in action.
whered you rip the cockpit interior from
also, its a half decent start, but its nowhere near good.
and what the FUCK at those fans.
I don't know if this will be useful or not, but in my line of work two different perspectives are better than one. Below is a picture of a quick Sparrowhawk model I began working on right after the Sparrowhawk was revealed for Halowars. I am not going to finish it. If you want the model for an extra reference on scaling, you are welcome to it. Just contact me via PM and I will email it to you. By saying this, I am not stating that my model is better. You model looks out of proportion in some ways (as I am sure mine does as well). Perhaps having an extra vantage point might help it get better.
Anyways, if you are interested let me know. Otherwise keep it up.
