Also that looks cool hunter, but I can't really see from that angle if your doing it the way it's supposed to look.

looks too flat at the front.. doesnt seem as epic as Dano may have wanted it, goto one of the Sidearm wip threads and you'll see a handle Dano sketched up and you'll see how fat and more covey it looks than your handle atm.

How exactly does one wield such a weapon? Is it designed for alien physiology?
Grab the back handle with one arm, and the other hand goes under the main body right behind the "mouth'. Its the curved green part.
Looks more like a shoulder mount or something you'd mount on a vehicle.

No...? It was originally a covenant flamethrower design. Basically you pulled the the "tail" back (which is a handle) and the "mouth" opens and spews plasma. But that was a while back, I have no idea what it is now or what it does.

Ok, as shown in this quick depiction what if Johnny Bravo got a hold of dis shit, Johnny holds the gun as so, and pulls back lever to fire. This is only to show how it is held, it in now way relates to the actual model, and the scaling of danes may be completely different.

Really think about it.
It would be impossible to hold the front of the gun with one hand while pulling the back part down, the weight just seems way to unbalanced. Maybe if it had a strap that went over the shoulder it would work.

impractical gun is impractical, but still the coolest thing I've seen so far for this month's challenge.

It's an exploding Shruiken star (ninja star) or ShruikenC4, whichever. Basically it has a timer on it like C4 and creates a small explosion, probably a few feet in diameter. Guess you could call it an AP mine. So just picture throwing a ninja star into someones chest, then they explode seconds later.

probaly from the bevel, but i got it fixed, if u want me to change that picture, i can.
also i am proud of that little hinge i made, its kind of in seperate pieces, but i skinned it to the lid and base, to move like a real hinge.
ha ha looks like from your concept that you modelled it first then did a scribbling to resemble the model,
but yeh, random buttons much, you got like 3 dials of buttons for like two options which should just be buttons themselves.
