I think the Gunslinger is (once again) catering to Battul Engie. The idea is to have the Mini-Sentry deploy on the front lines and damage the incoming team, possibly getting destroyed in the process and granting the Engie crits with his shotgun.
While I agree that this is probably one of the dumber weapons, I'm not making judgments until the update releases.

You can make a level 3 mini-sentry by building and upgrading a normal sentry, then switching to the robo-hand (whatever) and picking it up. When you set it down it becomes an adorable little level 3 with stupid accuracy and rate of fire and ROCKETS.

Yeah we did a nice big farm fest on achivement idle. The only engie item I plan on using is the Frontier Justice. If they un-nerf the mini sentry I might use it but as it stands its so weak its pretty much useless.

thunder mountain is fun, but i agree the last leg of the match its almsot impossible for a team to win
so yeah had a huge staelmate on hightop 15 minutes into the match and 7 drops later blu finally won because red engineers decided to not notice the spy running around

Here's a pro tip. It only takes 2 fully charged lucksman shots to kill a level 3 sentry.
lucksmen is the lamest weapon in the game and if you dont think so your lame too
I have never used it until the engie update. The sniper rifle is a million times better but I like to trole engies by destroying there buildings with a fucking wooden arrow.

Its superior to the sniper rifle for mid range in every situation except running from pyros. its quick charge makes it excellent for taking down heavies. Plus if you know shit about the map your on, its easy to put the shot directly on the spot your target will be at the time of impact. Pyros definitely aren't given enough credit. Sure they're heavy on the nerf spectrum... but a good pyro can wreck absolute hell in many situations.
I think if valve incorporated a flamethrower that allowed airburst jumping (coupled with some negative effect im sure), pyro's could really expand their field of use. It wouldn't even need to be as high as soldier's rocket jump.
I always wondered why that wasn't possible to begin with. If they did Airburst Jumping + Subtract 20 health it would be balanced and awesome.Quote:
