Got linked to this; creamed myself.
Jizzed myself.
This music is sort of better (and sort of worse) than the original, but that was SUCH a tough fight the second go around.
Dethklok/Metalocalypse creator/writer/musician releasing a solo album the 29th of April

it's going to rock so fucking hard
example of some of his non-dethklok work
I'm such a dork.
Still one of my favorite songs.
This is making me want to play Ocarina all over again

lol docjazz
I actually bought like two or three ocarinas because of that mofo. Two sweet potato and one pendant. I got pretty fucking metal at the 6-hole pendant scales.
some of the best purchases of my fuckin life

the ownage never stops
I miss Floppy Drives merely for the noises they made. :(
Cannot get this track out of my head:
Probably because Vanitas fights are seriously difficult. Imagine fighting Riku in KH1, but faster and more capable.
This track is just epic:
I'm so glad I learned a long time ago to completely ignore whatever movements the composer is making. 90% of the time they are as terrible as the guy in that video.
Then again, my experience is skewed by Cadet/Military composers who think they're the absolute shit of their brass band because they get to carry a baton in parades and swing it around all cool-like. Then in the theater they try and tell us bagpipers how to keep a beat when they can't even do it themselves (that's a big thing because bagpipers don't even need sheet music, we memorize EVERYTHING and have to know how to keep time ourselves).
If I can do it, brother so can you.
I miss Scatman John. D:

Funny, it sounds good if you're drunk or if you stayed awake for 2 days, but not otherwise...
Best ever Mass Effect arrangment I've seen.
Album out next month!! I'm gonna be first in line!!
I'M SO EXCITED
Okay, thanks!
who's in the mood for some l4d2?????
fuck the fuck yeah!!!
I can't fucking wait for this album
The rhythm guitar is that is awesome. Great use of a backwards chord voicing.
Quote:
Oh yes. Garrus Vakarian, the galaxy's most awkward and loveable turian, now singing a song about his favorite activity: calibrations.
Yeah, basically, I found it from here: (Which is also insanely epic)
Just a few picks from my favorites list on Youtube
The singer of the original Pokemon theme song singing a Lesbian remake of the original Pokemon theme.
I win.
One of my favorite bands for a while, those who dont know them,
Tom Delonge from Blink 182
Matt Wachter from 30 seconds to Mars
Atom Willard from The Offspring (recently just left)
David Kennedy from Boxcar Racer
Very sick video.
far too much bloom
Hey, Bacon.
Guess what I found.
EDIT: Also.
Galaktikon is released today.

Just in time for Metalocalypse Season 4!!
Couple of my favourite tracks.
I haven't thought about that movie for YEARS
That movie ROCKS. I used to watch it on VHS every night along with Aladdin and Mulan. Note, this was like 5-7 years ago. I'm 19.
Recently rediscovering Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, after picking up the MGS HD Collection.
Norihiko Hibino - Lethal Encounter (MGS2 Tanker Chapter Alert Theme)
Norihiko Hibino - Yell "Dead Cell" (MGS2 Plant Chapter Boss Theme)
Norihiko Hibino - On the Ground ~ Battle in the Jungle (MGS3 Opening/Jungle Caution/Jungle Alert Theme)
Kind of glad that guy is working with Halo 4's music.
am i the only one both enjoying these and laughing at how silly they are, at the same time?
No. I love gangstah rap for that same reason Donat

Deserves a repost:
^great song, great show
been watching eurovision, expecting comedy. got some good laughs out of it - especially from the witty remarks people are making on the sbs twitter page, which sbs is then showing onscreen after each song - but more than anything i have been blown away by the intermission earthporn of azerbaijan, and also leyla aliyeva. holy fucking shitballs, caucasian women are hot as hell. i know where i'm going next time i can afford an overseas holiday.
anyone else been watching? sweden is apparently the favourite but i reckon russia might just clean up, their secret weapon of adorable old ladies has proven exceedingly effective so far
SBS twitter is actually godly.
This song is so completely not my usual style, but I can't stop listening!
Speaking of Eurovision

Just as relevant now as it was then.
e/ so everyone gets why, lyrics:
33 minutes of the most epic track in mass effect.

Such a great soundtrack and OST.
This is one of my favorite 16 bit soundtracks. It evoked a haunting, mysterious mood that perfectly suited the level it was in.
Pretty cool remaster of an already good song. As is the usual pattern with Sonic games, the soundtrack for this stage is far better than the stage itself.
Least epic song.

This man can have my children.
i came across this amazing shirt with rediculous music genre names,
http://media.threadless.com//imgs/pr...0design_01.jpg
and someone linked this.
These guys are actually amazing
I doubt many here are fans of hardcore punk, but The Exploited are awesome. Each of their albums are excellently paced and all play into an overarching theme.
Here you can see them start to cross over into a more metal sound.
And here they are truly rooted in crossover thrash:
And of course, their most well-known song.
Beat the Bastards was really cool. Crossover thrash is a really interesting genre, mostly because I find most of the Crossover bands to be superior to straight thrash bands like Flotsam and Jetsam or VioLance etc.
hahaha this is sick, i'd kill to hear some of those
meanwhile, THIS TRAIN DON'T GOT NO BRAKES
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuysoNnRiwk
Well, the bands you listed are pretty generic, crappy thrash bands, so no wonder a good band sounds better than them. Here's some REAL thrash.
And of course, my favorite thrash metal song of all time, and my second favorite song period:
Notice my Megadeth post right above yours lol
Thank god I am not going to Wacken and instead to this one so I can avoid most of the thrash :X
oh and :3
or more something like this?
Going to see Amon Amarth second time live soon...not my fav band, great live band / show though.
loving the megadeth and amon amarth stuff :iamafag:
Black metal isn't any good, not even ironically.
THE ONLY GOOD METAL IS THRASH!!!!!!!
I don't like subdividing metal in so many sub-genres but generally speaking I like a broad range of metal from metalcore to death metal to most post stuff. I don't really like thrash metal and true black metal (like Immortal, Behemoth etc.).
Black metal just consists of blast beats that the drummer cannot reproduce live because he is out of breath after a few songs, a guitar player with a loose hand wrist so he can shred as fast as he can on the lowest string of his 7/8 string guitar, no need to talk about the bass player, can't hear him anyway, and some corpse paint singer who runs through the forest having no dignity in music videos.
All of my friends play some kind of an instrument and you start to analyze the music in a different way. Megadave is just Dave Mustaine, Metallica has 3 good songs and the worst drummer of all time :P
Fucking Megadeth still being fucking Megadeth
The greatest Thrash band of them all. Always. Forever. Dave Mustaine.
