Jay is an average use who tried to join this community and get some recognition for some average modding with a team. There map design from my point of view wasn't that bad. Ya their moddling needed some work, but they were getting a long well. However, people like you, insulted their work, and didn't even offer CONSTRUCTIVE criticisms. Now look at the guy, he's kissing someones ass he doesn't even like, why, because he doesn't want to end up down in the dumps with everyone hating him. This is exactly what I'm talking about, that example showed how people can come here with a fair amount of confidence and are willing to learn. That is quickly turned into an ass kissing fest, where the people with rep dicks as long as a mile never get offended.

The layout however is good. I always liked the idea of an uber large city map and this does a good job at transferring it. Do some skinning tutorials and try and make the buildings less...plain. Try using cityscape as a guideline. The roads could use more detail and material in the way. It just feels to wide and open, unless you start putting some air transport in it's just too big for a warthog or ghost. This has potential for vehicles like in extinction and what not if you maybe doubled it in size. It would also work for smaller vehicles, except it would need to be twice as small. Also, don't ever ever ever ever use custom weapon tags unless their CMT's, they're the only people I have seen to take a Halo weapon, re model and design it, put it back into the game, and have it still look like a halo weapon. That goes for vehicles too.

the model its self is a bit low res. it is obviously not a final piece of work(for an experienced modeler, but everyone =! experienced modeler) . it needs better texturing, maybe some detail maps. but in game, who is really going to look at it with a magnifying glass?(anyone who posts an "I would" response gets a :fail: from me) who cares if it isnt exact? this is CUSTOM EDITION. it s supposed to be different. otherwise we might be sued for copyright infringement:XD:
