From what I've read, 970m is the longest the game will let you go. I love all the hackers with 3000m+ headshots recorded in Battlelog who aren't banned.

He now has a 955.51 headshot record. Probably got it when he was testing ranges with the Plague. P cool.

That M98 is boss for headhsots.

Yeah that was the longest one we were able to manage, anything past that is pure fluke/luck. And It does seem that 970m is the maximum, as the bullets seem to stop rendering/disappear after flying that far.

I say that it's pure luck/fluke at that range because at that range with the Ballistic 12x scope the adjustment of ONE PIXEL translates to about 10 feet at the target. I sometimes had to get ThePlague to move to where my bullet was going instead of adjusting my aim, because adjusting my aim by one pixel (on my screen) translated to it going waaaaaay wide on ThePlague's end.

So yeah, anyone on the "Longest Headshot" leaderboard with anything over 970m or so is a hacker.

So those people on Battle Log with headshots greater than 970m or so are just abusing a glitch in the game.
