Perhaps you didnt bother to follow the story, we had it on a dedicated screen at work for it, so I know blow-by-blow what happened.
Why is the swat tank there? You imply they shoot any thing that they suspect is the terrorist? How many accidental casualties were there from the police? 0. Did they use unnecessary force? Hell no, in fact you can actually praise the police for being extremely light handed, I was expecting them to instantly gun down both men with full force - as what is happened in the past, yet the police showed true professionalism.
It was completely obvious these were the terrorists, anyone that gets into a gunfight, throws improvised grenades and bombs at police, to me - is considered a terrorist/highly dangerous and needs to be neutralized .

Sadly, most precautions in today's world seem like the above quote. At least, that's how it is in Amuricah.

I'm aware what went on as much as anyone else, you could how ever take your own advice.

I was following it myself, and I've noticed a shit tonne of contradictions involving this whole thing, Let's put things in perspective, the entire city was in practical lock down with everyone effectively under curfew whilst the SWAT, FBI and ATF did door to door searches warning anyone to leave their home they make be accidentally confused for the two suspects , one suspect was arrested and shortly there after died of a "heart attack after supposedly taking critical injuries despite accounts saying otherwise including footage which seems to no longer be available whilst the family of the two brothers were sharing contradictory accounts of both the suspects.

LIGHT HANDED?! they had thousands of SWAT teams I was expecting them to instantly gun down both men with full force - as what is happened in the past, yet the police showed
true professionalism.
If they did that they wouldn't have had anyone to make example out off.

Then apparently you don't know what the definition of a terrorist is, Terrorists sole purpose is to cause Terror, at the moment the guy who has been arrested is a suspect until proven guilty in the court of law.
In a civilized world we don't start flinging shit and names around until we've actually gone through the process of actually finding out what happened and doing an investigation into who may have caused it, it seems a bit short in the time between the attack happening and the suspects being raised on the flag poles by their shorts for all to see for everyone to immediately declare someone is guilty before the trial even starts.
I'll admit the evidence so far is pretty damning but then again, what isn't in this world, last year there was the incidence which had SWAT shoot a distressed teenager who died asking to talk to their parents and was only distressed because they failed some exam in school.
Re: The best pictures you've seen.
WarLord, you live in Britain. Shut up.
Re: The best pictures you've seen.
I'd rather live in the United Kingdom than live here at the moment.
Re: The best pictures you've seen.
i was watching a non-biased publicly funded news station do a talk show with a few different people from various points of view and one of them happened to be a cheif editor for a newspaper.
In he's response to the bostom bombing military presence in the city he said one VERY MASSIVE AND IMPORTANT thing.
"The american culture is very authoritarian in nature."
His comment slipped by most people but it didnt slip by me. The hosts and other speakers didn't even bat an eyelid.
Literally the first time i'd ever seen words like this broadcasted anywhere on australian television or internet or papers or any form of media.
and it means a shift in opinion is taking place.
And hell it's about fucking time.
