I don't hope to piss anyone off, but I have an idea on how we can at least update the game. If you be interested, click the spoiler button below. If not, don't go flaming me, just play along.
Note: Some of this is complete bull-crap. You'd do well to think I'm the biggest idiot here.
Anyways, I was thinking. We could just update the tags, right? How long would it take to make a Chief that looked like this? Green, of course with some updated textures. Or perhaps a sexy version of Captain Keyes? I have a whole list of stuff that can be remade.
We don't have to use a million polygons to make everything. We just need some good models and awesome textures. Dialogue, music, and sound effects can stay the same, we don't need a million updates for that. Cinematics would be fun to remake. I bet Joe Staten would have a fit if we wrecked something.
Just some ideas. It would be cool to see Halo revamped if not remade.
Meh. Anyways, anyone got a good story to pass the time?

Basically an "HD" mod of the game? I thought this had been attempted by someone at some point, and I'm all for it.
