i don't recall them saying anywhere that it's a spartan 3.
They said it's an EVA suit.
The one in my avatar is a CQB suit.
I did say it looked like one. Oh well, so it's not. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
However, it is clearly inspired by the Spartan 3...
