At YouTube, we're always looking to improve the way you watch videos online. As part of that, today we're excited to introduce our new page layout. Here are some tips for getting the most out of your new YouTube viewing experience:
1 Turn your monitor upside-down
Our internal tests have shown that modern computer monitors give a higher quality picture when flipped upside down—kind of like how it's best to rotate your mattress every six months. You might find that YouTube videos look better this way.
Imagine you've got water in your ear and need to get it out. Tilt your head toward one shoulder and watch the video (gentle head-smacking on the opposite side is optional).
As you probably know, everything in Australia is upside-down, so moving to Australia may provide you with a more natural YouTube viewing experience. (Note: If you live Down Under, and the page is still upside-down for you, then we recommended moving to the northern hemisphere.)
Slope is different between the red and cyan triangles.

No, right. 2/5 != 3/8. Go back and learn some basic math, Heathen.

The switched the positions of the shapes, and existence was broken, anyone know if this is ultimately legit?

Uhh, how isn't it possible? The pieces just don't fit properly in that arrangement. No surface area has disappeared, it's just in a different configuration. That's like wondering how it's "possible" that you have holes if you put a puzzle together incorrectly.
e : wait wtf
e2 : no, I was right the first time. The tris have different slopes, therefore all surface area is still accounted for.
It's a photoshop of course, everything is a photoshop

It may be because I'm only in Geometry, but I don't get what's so perplexing about that picture. But, my Geometry teacher has that picture in her room. I'm actually more confused as to why that picture is apparently so confusing.
And, the two triangles have the same slope, just different sized bases and taller legs.

The orange shape is set to the left of the green shape instead of on top of it, the triangles are reversed. Stupid question???

Umm, how do you not understand what is initially confusing about this? The pieces all appear to be the exact same dimensions yet by rearranging them there appears to be a decrease in area, which doesn't make sense.
But, really the hypotenuse just pulls in very slightly along its length to compensate for the missing square.
How about user-friendliness, linux? hm? You can't pull that command line bullshit forever and expect to make it to the mainstream now can you?

I have to agree. I love Linux to every extent, but not everyone is a developer. I have gotten to know my way around it by now :/
Windows at first was all command line too at one point

I believe you are are thinking of DOS. The name "Windows" came from the GUI.

Don't you still have to use the command line to install programs and perform other power-user functions?

No? Only when following tutorials, and for hopefully obvious reasons. It's far easier to c+p a set of commands and let them run than it is to follow a guide that tells you to "double click this, then click on that, then type this, then find this tab and blah blah blah".
Just wanted to note that every time I start that mp3 player, he always blows up at the part where the main beat just comes in. It's got damn perfect.
