E: FML All I had to do was log out of battlelog and login again, really?
I would never think to do that cause I thought you login and out everytime you turn on and off your PC. But I guess you have to do it manually on the website.
Fix for someone if there having a difficult time : /
I use LastPass to log in and log out automatically. None of that "remember who I am" bullshit. Well, I'm actually no so sure about the logging out part. But since I use the Battlelog exclusively in a separate application window, it's supposed to log me out when I hit the x to close the window. When I bring the Battlelog back up it has to re-log me in, so I'm assuming that it is logging me out when I close the window. What I don't seem to understand is how people can send me messages on the Battlelog when I am not even logged in. Battlelog doesn't have an offline message feature so I don't know how this happens and I know it's not a Chrome issue since it happens to people with Firefox, too.
I wish I could play this game, for one reason or another within seconds or minutes of having the game loaded it crashes to desktop with the error "this application has stopped responding".
No overclocking, no cooling issues, reasonably fresh install of windows.
graphics card and Catalyst/Forceware version?
Catalyst 11.1 has solved quite a few problems for me if you're an ATI/AMD user.
sorry typo right there, I meant I used 11.11. Are you using that?
Also, vista 32 bit? Game or no game, wipe that shit off and install Windows 7 (I don't advocate pirating it, but that's still a viable option and really not at all problematic as people would like you to believe). You can't even take advantage of all 4 GB of your RAM on 32 bit Windows anyways.
I did have win7 x64 month or so ago and got tired of some of the bullshit in it and returned back to vista.
win 7 was infuriating with it's insistence on not using the system tray for certain applications icons and instead using the taskbar itself.
Also, yes I am using 11.11 for ATI.
