So I've solved the crash issues and got BF3 working in English.
So much for it being because it was russian:allears:

AHAH! I found out why my BF3 randomly crashed even after updates! Was running the 32 bit version on a 64 bit OS....

Seriously? so that's why my game crashes... its a pain in the ass. however I'm not switching to 32 bit...

started playing this today. cant say im really enjoying it so far. idk if its just a ton of bad games in a row or what.

i will say this: the only reason i revive people anymore is for the points. dice or whoever made this took all the fun out of using defibrillators. its not fun reviving people, and its not fun being revived. all theyre missing is the guy who voices eyore from winnie the pooh saying "oh boy im being revived" as your screen fades in.

also, whichever fuckhead in the development department that decided the game screen should fade in when you spawn needs to be punched in the balls with SAP gloves.

Whichever fuckwit on the dev team that decided this game was good and ready to ship should be punch straight in the dick with brass knuckles. Official reviewers who gave it a score in excess of 80 should receive the same treatment, but with spikes attached.

My step brother recently started playing this to, he didn't like it to much at first but now that he has some faster hardware and more unlocks in the game he likes it more.

Generally that's how I saw it at first too. It just takes a bit of time to get used to the game. Once you unlock better weapons, you'll be like "fuck yeah this weapon rocks!"
