Don't know if it's already been posted but meh.
Anyways, looking at those impressive images again, i remember that I've always wondered if that's really the way we would see the respective objects if we had a well enough amateur telescope or if that's really just NASA showing us paintings. :tinfoil:
Well, I do believe many of them are false color images, getting their color from spectra invisible to the naked eye, but if that's the case, that just makes it more amazing, because we're seeing stuff that's there but would normally be imperceptible.
