Just keep crafting until you have one of every single item. Anything you have three of, craft two of them together.

Can craft something with an item for the same class to make scrap metal. 3 scrap metal = reclaimed metal, 3 reclaimed = refined metal, 3 refined = hat.

I did find another pretty sweet item though

I crafted out my brain slug (random drop) and scout's troublemaker tosslecap (crafted) for a tough guy's toque. Not disappointed at all ~
