Re: Pictures Funny Random
NASA actually planned out what his first words were going to be in advance of the Moon landing, so the first words on the moon weren't his own creation, much as Presidental speeches aren't of their own creation. He had some writers who gave him a line to say (I'm not insinuating that the mission was staged btw, before anyone gets any ideas).
I read a book on it a while back.
Fun fact: The crew was originally going to call the Lunar Module the Charlie Brown and the Snoopy, but NASA wouldn't have it, so they named it the Colombia and the Eagle.
The crew actually continued to refer to the modules as the Charlie Brown and the Snoopy in passing conversation aboard the rocket, and only used the "Official" names in transmissions to NASA.

Isn't there a play boy magazine on the moon?
E:hmmm

June 20th, 2009 London, June 20 (ANI): Besides courage, determination and little bit of fear - American astronauts took soft porn pictures with them to the Moon! Steamy pages from Playboy magazine were smuggled by pranksters at NASA into ring-bound checklists attached to the wrists of two spacemen on the Apollo 12 second manned landing in November 1969, reports The Sun. But that was not all, shocked Pete Conrad and Al Bean found jokers had added captions to the naked girls, like: "Seen any interesting hills and valleys?" Mission commander Conrad recalled: "I didn't find them until we were on our first Moonwalk." (ANI)

Not saying it's not true, but I take everything from The Sun with a grain of salt

I I get it, it's because he's black, and it's ASIAN chicken. It's irony, right? It's like.. why do you like asian chicken? Are you a disgrace to your race? :haw:

Yeah, I was just thinking that was probably the case right after I wrote my post, but decided against editing it in, just in case I was wrong.

And he still said them wrong.
It was originally "One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind."
But if you listen, (being as brilliant as he is, he admitted to not understanding that Man meant Man as a species) he says "That's one small step for a man. One giant leap for mankind."
Maybe I am nitpicking, but it makes more than a bit of difference.
E: And I dont know why, but I find xkcd to be very not funny.
Its too long winded. It needs to stop over clarifying itself.
