And Samus has armor so technologically advanced it's borderline magical, with energy shields that can take 20 times the punishment of the chiefs, and weapons capable of leveling whole buildings.

MC destroyed halo's power cores using his armor. I think he can take a hit from a crowbar. Let alone samus's lasers.
