Just exit the game and log back in, stats don't reset. Sometimes it looks like they did, but it's just some fail going on between your client and the stats servers.

Or they pop smoke like a pansy instead of flying to avoid the rocket. :maddowns: The most reliable methods for shooting down helicopters are VADS and a well-placed tank round. It only takes one shot from the 120mm...

everyones did for about 2 hours today. its was weird

Yeah, has happened before. EA/DICE take down the stats verification servers or something for maintenance and people who log in during that time get "reset" until the servers come back up.

Hmm, never experienced that. Then again, I didn't play yesterday.

Oh, I could definitely shoot myself down. I know I have patterns, and I try to shake them every now and then, but sometimes you have to make an about-face or a slow turn, and that leaves you vulnerable. I'm also better with the damn AT4 than anyone I know. I've been able to avoid the best AT4 guys who frequent Sausage Distribution Network. Not forever, but for long enough that it doesn't matter much if I do get shot down.

Ironically, I have a worse time avoiding this one guy who's Gustav-happy and has a crazy sense for speed and direction. The guy doesn't even need a tracer dart to take me out several hundred yards away during a corkscrew.

Wait a minute...corkscrew? You mean a whirlie? I didn't think you could legitimately corkscrew in BC2...

Okay, a tight downward spiral. I forgot that corkscrew corresponded to a specific aviation trick.

Is there ever going to be a gamenight again? :(
