This is why it is a game. All I'm saying is they took out the fun in sniping. I know it doesn't take skill to QS but it's fun to do it. If you actually have to take the time to line up your shot and assume which direction the enemy will be running then you might as well just take the snipers out of the game. It would take too long to line up a shot when someone is shooting at you already. Plus this will probably just make people camp more with snipers.
A sniper isn't suppose to be standing in the middle of a courtyard. They are supposed to be hiding, waiting for their prey. Yes it makes people camp, but thats what real snipers do.Quote:

If you want to be able to aim down the fucking sight at close range really fast and shoot someone, choose a bloody SMG.
If you want to snipe, aka LONG DISTANCES, then choose a fucking sniper and don't run around in close proximity to other players.

yeah acogs on snipers in cod4 was fricking amazing. dragunov acog with bandolier uav jammer and steady aim was one of my favorite setups. for some reason i found it alot easier to get headshots with acogs than i did with the normal sniper scope, but only with the m21 and dragunov. the bolt action rifles are a little harder to use imo.
my favorite map with that setup is bloc. nobody ever knows where you are due to UAV jammer, so you can look across the map and take people out of windows then move to a new location before people realize where you are. so much fun.
