don't even bother with that, there are far easier (and safer) methods of modding your xbox nowadays.

Dude, AI in Halo 1 DOES NOT sync in PC OR Xbox. There is NO code to sync the AI.
Get. It. Thru. Your. Heads.
This really isn't co-op, it's just SP->MP conversions tbqh.

The internet, no, as halo 1 has no netcode for the xbox. Over the net as in tricking it into thinking it's playing system link yes. However, the AI actions are created based off processes on the xbox's cpu. Any time an AI makes a decision it is liable to reach a different conclusion on each cpu. As for the ability for a person to have a co-op in a single player level, yes it's very possible as the only difference in a Halo 1 MP and SP map is a flag that says what fashion of game it is. The engine runs the same way, but in SP loads a different set of commands on what to do (such as the pause menu and what happens when a map is won).
Re: Halo 1 Modding 4-Player Coop and Beyond- Now coming to your nearest modded Xbox :
well, not exactly true there Zeph. There are actually specific sub-game engines which are used when running MP games
Re: Halo 1 Modding 4-Player Coop and Beyond- Now coming to your nearest modded Xbox :
Not exactly true, but I'm trying to generalize it as much as possible. We're dealing with people who think AI sync over MP, remember?

I know this might sound retarded and/or impossible, but couldn't you somehow just give the AI to the host's CPU and have all the other player's PCs just listen to what the host says?
