How to fix scratch xbox 360 games.

One of my friends scratched up his Halo 3 disk pretty bad (knocked his 360 off a desk onto a concrete floor - the disk was scratched but the console was fine, go figure). He just took the disk down to a video rental store and paid about $5(Aus) and it took them about 15 minutes to get it fixed up. The disk has run perfectly ever since.

Your local big chain video rental store almost certainly has a hardcore industrial disk buffer. It usually costs just a few bucks to have them buff the scratches out of the disk. If you're near a Game Crazy, they actually give out coupons for this sort of thing.

This doesn't work by the way. I tried it last night to no avail.

I suggest you wait about 30 seconds or so, after the game starts to do it, thats what I do, but I dont have to do the paperclip part, my box is open :downs:

if you have a Hollywood Video in your area you can take your disc to the gamecrazy inside the store. They have a disc buffer that will take rings and scratches almost all the way off. $2 for any disc. Worked for me.
