It is actually one model. 3DS Max 8 has a button that says "Attach" when you are working in Editable Mesh, so I use that and wield the vertices.

Basically, use the STL Check for a rough guess to make sure your level is sealed as you go along. It's modifier.
I figured you'd just attach and not weld the verticies, but because you did, good job.

I just did it, and there is no errors so far.
It's nice to see someone who has their shit together when starting a project like this. Thank you. A lot of the time we've got someone with no pics, no plan, and they expect everyone else to do most of the work.

It is a WIP, and thus the Poly count will be drastically different when finished.
that tower thing should be 40-50 triangles tops... why spend so much more time poly chopping when you could just model it low poly?
also your objects arent following the sealed world rules.
just telling you now before you waste too much time. look up some box and plane modeling tutorials.
