I didn't really know how to model them good back then. I do now though. Once I get comfortable modelling in max, I'll fix up the map. I already know ALOT of how I'm going to finish the map now :)

Dane, you should hurry up and get HL2. Then pick up a copy of Raising the Bar, and recreate some of the concept shit which Valve cut. Your art style is perfect for it.

I know it's dodgy in areas (non planars, bad smoothing, general shittyness etc) but I'm learnding ok >:[ This is my first model in max, from that Beretta 9000 tutorial on moddb, though I did the clip all by myself and didn't even watch that part of the tut, just took what I learned previously in the tutorial for it.
I see some errors on that 9000, but you're going places, Dane.
