Super & Nice. I hope when someone finds the "perfect" rain for each type of map there will be a tutorial series.
Edit: Its Jalalabad?
yup
And, don't expect a full explaining tutorial.. i think it's one of the fun parts of the hek, let people fiddle around with it themselfs so they come up with flying monkeys all over the place while they were actually trying to make some fluffy snow weathersystem...
So, pointer 1... create a weather-system using korns guerilla.
Yeah, Korn's guerilla does alot more than make shaders. I think 90% of it is unexplored.
Also I don't want to pre-fabricate a bunch of rain tags to accommodate your mood but I am making a list for my reference on how the settings effect the rain. Maybe i'll just give that out.
That might be a while though you'd be better off fiddling with it yourself.
I am just curious of the weather system. I have messed with it and I have gotten a sandstorm more than rain :)
The first set of settings on a weather system tag are separate rain drop type rain shown in my video above but it really puts a toll on the fps.
The second type of rain shown in vicky's video is created with the plate settings.
That is more of a massive rain type and i don't think it messes with the fps nearly as much, but in my opinion it does not look as good in its own respect.
I came to the conclusion that the first type of rain is for close contact and the plate type is for background. Mine is looking pretty sweet.
The settings are not too hard to figure out from there. Trial and error.
