It looks like youtried to do a rush job and didn't spend enough time on those modelstotally spent loads of time on those.
Next time, I suggest learning to make better renders, making your models less boxy, and spending more time making the guns accurate.

I'm sorry, but Snaf here is definately not Jesus (I still love you though D: ) and we have no problem with his work. His models almost never fails to impress us. The fact that you insist that your models are perfect regardless of the fact that everyone is telling you otherwise speaks volumes about you and your outlook on life. You must come to accept that you aren't doing very well and branch out. Your models look choppy and half-thought-out. If you really feel you can't improve, then go to another modeling program - Maya, 3ds, or GMAX for example. Though, as ExAm shows us very well, tools are rarely an excuse for sub-par work.

Only complaint is the need for AA on the bottom of the logo image. Or, it might actually be the overuse. In any case, it looks nice.
I'm not sure why it rendered like that, but it's easy to fix.

I don't think my models are great. I agree that msot people here can mdoel better than me, bt that just might have osmehting to dow itht he fact that they've had aobut 10 times more practice than me? On the other hand, but I also dont think that they're horrible.

Smoothing won't help those models. You need to rethink your modeling techniques - whatever you're doing isn't good enough. All of your models are choppy and have unnatural edges, and are also too thin. I don't know how wings works, but if ExAm could do his M1 with it, you can make better mdoels too. You need to compare your models to others, and think, "does this look right?" Any doubt in your mind must be corrected. That is, if you CAN see what's wrong. If you can't then you should consider another hobby.

Right now the smoothing is craptacular at best, I'm working on that xD. I've had a hellish time finding references for this thing because it's still in the prototype stage, so I've had to use a very similar weapon as ref for the back. The only ref images I have are of the front and the left side, so I've probably mangled something horribly. It's up to you guys to figure out what gun it is though xD.
Do remember that I haven't modeled in a lot of the details though. Its a WIP definitely.
And Neostyles, Smoothing groups aren't going to fix your models. You need to actually learn how to model in smooth-ish geometry and then supplement that with smoothing groups. You really need to watch either this or this before someone rips your head off and shits down your neck. And before you gripe about your modeling package, I have one thing to tell you. Plane modeling is a technique, not a feature.

yeah, I redid alot of the terrain model and texture wise, and i figured out proper shadows in mental ray, so yeah. Plus the structures are new and alot of the texturing on them is too.
Theres alot more to go yet. Grass decorators, holographic shit all over the structures, finishing the other base, unwrapping blue base (wich will require some effort) and texturing the blue base. Then I have to make a new skybox and stuff, get ingame, shaders everything.
So yeah, about 50 percent done in comparison to finished and downloadable.

I totally redid the animations with another h2 arms rig. I suggest that anyone who's animating fp for Halo should go about getting one and trying some animating with it, the difference (mainly in the ease of setting up the hands) is incredible. There's 3 anims in the rar this time - one based on the original, one with no bolt movement, (like h2's reload) and one with the bolt being pushed back after locking open on the last round (like h1's reload).
