That last patched pretty much fixed all the problems for me. I have no idea what anyone else is bitching about.

id love to get that patch and see for myself, but, once again, origin cannot connect to the login servers, and the only legitimate way to get the update is through origin.

They broke AA missiles and ECM jammer. They released a mini-patch to fix it and it broke it even more. Further more, community manager, Zh1nt0, posted a video guide to using ECM jammer correctly in a Battlelog news post. Little did he realize that the conclusions of the video state that ECM Jammer is broken. Good work, Zh1nt0, post shit without watching it first.

That may have been the one thing I noticed, I thought I was just activating them to early or some shit. I mostly use extinguisher anyway. :S

So what ECM just doesnt work anymore?

How the hell did the patch Break AA missiles? It actually made them useful for the first time. If anything it fixed them.

Sorry, I meant Air-to-Air missiles mainly. Although, the IGLA had some various issues before which are now fixed with the mini-patch. The ECM and Air-to-Air still isn't though. A fast moving target will not be hit 95% of the time.

I also love the fact the video was posted before the patch. And That Zhinto guy is trying to use it to explain the AFTER patch stuff.

I understand Dice has a battle to keep everything balanced and stuff, but they are making drastic changes to the gameplay. No longer has it been "oh if I practice with this gun I can get better" because they may just patch it and you have to restart again on your skill with that weapon (because you don't know what works and what doesnt).

fixed it. incase anybody else was wondering, its some DNS issue. opened cmd, typed the following:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
winsock reset catalog

restarted computer, problem solved, patch downloaded.

meanwhile, steam downloads and installs a tf2 updates nearly once a week with absolutely zero trouble.
