Its a TV. If it was a projector then the wires would have made hard shadows.

I had originally seen you post on my iTouch (which doesn't support .gif's), so I was wondering what the point was, but now I get it.

The original picture is inverted colors, meaning that once it changes to B&W, your brain assumes that it is just inverting the colors back to normal.
