And the worst part about it is often the operator wanting to be cheap when it comes to maintenance, or they end up doing it themselves (which they are not allowed to do) and they end up doing this. So the couple thousand they saved on maintenance will probably end up in a revoked pilot license, tons of violations and tickets, and if they're very lucky(most aren't when stuff happens like this) they might actually live. If you ever go up in a general aviation aircraft make sure you know your pilot, make sure he's responsible does his walk around inspections and all that. You'd be flabbergasted by the utter ignorance of so many pilots.
