I'm really looking forward to this. Did anyone else see that AC-130 and then the F-15 on the cover of End Game? Most interestingly it says "Available Now." Oh really EA? Where? Then? Take my fucking money.
EDIT: They have taken down the video. Looks like it was some PR stunt maybe. Lucky for you guys I realized this and still have the youtube page open and loaded. I recorded it with fraps and I'm re-encoding it to H.264 Mainconcept. Once it's done I'll upload it as an unlisted video and post it here.

20 new weapons. on top of the existing... what, 50? 60? too many weapons imo, especially when the m16a3 is supposedly the dominant gun in this game.
The 20 new weapons include the Back to Karkand ones, so it's really only 10 new weapons.
still though, this is bf3, not borderlands...
You're right. Massive amounts of weapons are what create redundancy. The M40 and the L96 are basically the same rifle in the game, except that the M40 shoots slightly faster and has a slightly lower muzzle velocity so the bullet drop affects it a bit more than the L96. Still, since we're got 10 weapons with B2K and we're getting 10 weapons with Close Quarters, it feels awfully inconsistent to not give us weapons for the DLC that come after Close Quarters.
Apparently I was one of the first people to realize that DICE leaked their own trailer and immediately sent the link to BattlefieldO and BF3 Blog via twitter. I got a shout out at the bottom of the BattlefieldO post so that was pretty cool. BF3 Blog has a staggering lack of details on what was in the trailer. No worries since my vid link is still alive and kicking.
The update for PC is currently in progress, but check out what showed up after the XBOX update.
