No, but Close Quarters and Armored Kill don't have anything that I've wanted them to add into the game. Thus, I'm not interested. I stopped playing BF3 a lot quite awhile ago and the only way I'll actually come back is if they do the following;
1) Fix all the shit they broke after the last big patch.
2) Add some shit I've been wanting (Blackhawk helos, two-seater jets, proper arty for Recon, etc).

A pilotable AC-130 would of been something to actually look forward to, and perhaps make me give a shit about grabbing Premium. Unfortunately, rails=boring=no buy.

How does Armored Kill not have anything you're interested in? Stryker MGS and all that jazz. The AC-130, not some much. Btw, the new update that came out on Monday fixed the shit that was broken from the last patch. Btw, what's proper arty for recon? Sort of like the BC2 mortar strike? I'd be fine with bringing back the mortar strike.

I'm going to whore the SHIT out of the MGS, I can tell you that right now.

Shame the AC-130 is on rails, I mean I was all hyped up to be a gunner and have a pilot swinging my aim all over the place and/or crashing.

Anyone who thinks it would have been different obviously hasn't spent enough time in helicopters.


There is also the issue that if you DID get someone that knew what up and down was it would become the god of the game and murder everything on the ground. That sounds like fun only if you are the 2 people out of the 64 in a server that's in it.

There was a tweet from Gustav Halling today that clarifies the AC-130 thing. It has two seats. Both are gunner seats with 2 weapons each. I not sure how there are 4 weapons on the AC-130 instead of the usual three (105mm arty, 40mm grenade, 20mm cannon). Maybe there's a guided missile feature too or something. Also it's a mobile parachute drop point for team members.

EDIT 2: Turns out it's the same 2 minutes of gameplay pre-recorded and looped. I'm alright with that since you can analyze things you missed the first time. And the devs are answering some good questions

So after the recent patch I've found that if I die, switch weapons in my class, and get revived, I start with that weapon.

Is this a new glitch/feature? Or has it been around for awhile and I've somehow missed it up till now.
