They did that with BC2: Vietnam and nobody complained. Most games do it. All of Relic's games have the expansions and DLC downloaded to your game so once it's unlocked you can use it immediately.

Played BF2 for the first time in awhile. Didn't rage once, all hits registered properly, lag didn't exist, bullets moved faster than airsoft pellets, tanks legitimately died, commanders placed boxes and squads had more than 4 people in them. Was p cool. Reminded me how much of a regression BF3 is.

That said, still got BF3P. Let's see how much they can fix before the 5th DLC comes out.

people who have premium can play with you on non-premium maps. you need the files for the new guns they might be using from premium.

as for the maps, idk. probably somebody being lazy and not wanting to make two different downloads.

The previous patch you downloaded was just for weapons and bug fixes, the new one had all the CQ maps and gametypes.

Conquest Domination is......Conquest on a tiny map. Because nobody who has played Battlefield has experienced capturing hold-points before!

i dont play the game anymore, idfk. i was just taking a stab at the question. all im saying is that theres probably some technical reason people without premium need to have the content.

then again, i wouldnt be surprised at all if its just laziness.

I can't say I'm a fan of Ziba Tower. To me it's just a convoluted mess. I pretty much love all the other maps, especially Scrap Metal.

My favorite weapon so far is the M417, gun is pretty much ridiculous with iron sights. SPAS is fun as hell, and so is the ACW-R

Also Gun Master is an abomination and I have no idea why they introduced this into BF3. It's pretty much where all the CoD jerkoffs hang out. I don't think I've ever been frustrated with BF3 as much as I have been in this game mode.

They introduced it to get the CoD jerk-offs out of Conquest until Medal of Honor: Warfighter is released, duh!
