You installed it wrong..

If it dosen't show the new when you load up minecraft (the login screen) that means you don't have the latest launcher.

I also have zombes mod pack.

Here is a link to the latest launcer. Just replace this with your current one and it will ask you to update or not

I had news, I installed Zombes, news went away, can't choose to update anymore. Meaning I had the new launcher and Zombes fucked it up.

I didn't install Zombes wrong.

Zombes works fine on mine. I haven't had issues with news not appearing. I've got most of the stuff in the mod enabled as well

So i was doing some messing around with shaders and out of boredom i decided to see what the minecraft default textures would look like with shaders.

The spec map and the normals map is made by me, I just used the terrian.png from the mincraft jar and did some editing to it to make it work with shaders.

This could give a bit more depth to scenery shots like that one Freelancer took of his Japanese or Chinese style (can't remember) building.

Ya, i just started messing with shaders yesterday. So i'm sitlll getting the hang of it. I'm just testing it with the default textures even tho they're really low resloution

I think you guys should go with canary server software it's hmod legeacy so i belive it's more stable then bukkit. Imo i think bukkit is a complete fail Always get red time outs nshit like that.

If you get canary craftbook is fully working for it. I don't think craftbook breaks on all updates and the hmod version should work fine with canary.
