it's something will the collision. halo 1's biped deforms when landed on a ledge or something; mine ended up in the wall and they can't tell where's the ground and messes up or something...it's the same reason for those deform spartans ppl take pictures of

I know, but I meant that it looks almost like the hand was a part of the shin by how they joined in the armour. I can see now that it's just the camera angle.

You're not alone. Though, I do think it's the best chestplate permutation. The rest of it doesn't appeal to me too much.
