I just watched the Rewind Theatre for the new trailer. Chief's armor disgusts me. Also why does Chief's waist look like Paris Hilton's??? WTF 343?
Probably because no one up until Reach took into consideration that there are big muscly people underneath the thick armor which has to sit on top of said big armor.

You're confusing "skinny" with "disproportionate". The sheer mass of his armor isn't what I'm talking about, I get what you're saying about pieces sitting atop one another, but at the same time 343i doesn't have to fall back on that mentality where ungodly skinny waists are appealing. Bioware did the same damn thing with Ashley Williams in Mass Effect 3
Bro, I don't understand what you are talking about, his waist isn't disproportionate. The only difference in size from old is the fact that there is no armor on the sides, around his hips and below his ribcage, look at that next to an anatomical drawing and the shape under the armor is quite proportional.

Check out this picture, if you look, his proportions are the same as those of the H3 Master Chief, but because the groin piece doesn't wrap around he looks skinnier.

Yeah, the only difference I see in the size of his thighs is the fact that there's no armour covering them, making them seem thinner without actually doing so.
