There's definitely a lot to like about massive scale games like that. Still, I'm more a fan of the Quake style of multiplayer shooter. Small scale and all about personal glory.

That looks cool. Maybe it's just some of the player bipeds, but it reminds me a good bit of if Marathon hit 3d and became multiplayer. I know it's more of an Arena based shooter, but I have played some mods where there are some pretty large scapes. Not as large as that of course.
I walso want more Plasma gunzzzzz.
