I can't seem to play this map on a dedicated server because you didn't put an underscore after Broken.

I hope this isn't a silly question but is there a way around that? I'm under the impression that if I add an underscore to it that the people with the map won't be able to play it on a dedi.

Use " around the map name
For example

map_name "DMT-Broken Indigo"
instead of
map_name DMT-Broken Indigo

anyone else notice this map is put under the tags area of halomaps?

This looks like a ton of fun. DMT never ceases to amaze me, they always come up with new and exciting ways to make halo CE alot more fun.
