Oh that was the use of metacontacts...

Also to the few people that have added me I think Trillian declined your request even though I pressed accept. I can't see any offline contacts for astra even just after adding you.

e:nevermind when someone i've just accepted talks to me I get the option to add them to my contacts list.

and when i change the name in the main window, it doesn't change in the chat view.

If you're referring to the name found on the bottom of your contact list...that's not it =/

Wait he's actually right. What I told you before was to just remove the name completely, that won't work. Try actually changing it to something else.

Go Prefrences > Identities and change your Trillian Astra name from Eric to whatever.

yah but then if i changed it to my aim sn, it would say that on msn and such...
