It won't run Shader 2.0 at all.
If you can somehow force it (probably hacking it) it'll look ugly and you'll probably not recognize things you see.
And yea, the video settings aren't too...diverse.
I just read somewhere that the way MS programs its games it be unlikely to run halo2 on previous shader versions until someone releases a mod version with lower res textures and reduce shaders, which looks even more unlikely.
but still, anyone by any chance knows if some developement related to this is going on somewhere or is planned to, in near future?
Get more ram, a new processor "if its outdated" , and a new video card if needed. Halo 2 is a power hog like anyone who played it knows. I have a top end computer but i still have problems. I think i'm gonna just get into UT3 anyways.Quote:

Also, I think BioShock is easier to "mod" than H2V.
