I will admit I have been acting like a bit of child in this particular thread. The sad part was that so was a lot of the other people who were arguing with me, for example those who actually brought up Lumoria and attempted to trash it themselves.Quote:

Due to Darwinism, the forum was once a loving and peaceful community filled with enlightened artist and human beings. But one day they had to adapt to the changing environment. This changing environment was the introduction of the Off-Topic/Debate section. This then led to peaceful artists evolving into trolls because of the sheer amount ignorance and mind-humpage that filled their pure minds.Quote:

This forum has no serious future, and it hasn't had any particular reason to frequent it in ages.
The reason is very simple: hostile cunts who start arguments for no reason. This leads to normally nice people, replying to the cunts in a similar way. Then you get a shitty thread, and by extension, a shitty community.
I suggest the admin repurposes this bandwith for something useful.
Perhaps a strict distinction could be made in just a few simple categories. Eg:
- Game Programming
- Game Art
- Level Design
- General Game Design
No off-topic threads, the afore mentioned "hostile cunts" will ruin the community and overall friendly atmosphere, just to stroke their egos.
My 2 cents. Hopefully this forum can be turned around drastically into a nice place to visit. And the "hostile cunts" who actually start the crap, eg Warlord, Rossmum, and I'm sure there's plenty more, should all be IP banned from this new, nice place. I mean really, they've made this place worse than halomaps' current condition.

You know the funny bit? The real news about Texas seemed to die out around the time this thread got off topic. I honestly can't find a single article past mid-November.
